Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tommie Bennett ("I," "me," or "we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use this site — including coaching bookings, the Academy course, the riding quiz, and the SKOVA community. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

Information I Collect

• Contact details you provide when booking coaching or buying the course: name and email address.
• Booking details you provide through the site's own checkout and booking flow: the coaching package you buy, your name and email, and any details or riding-footage links you choose to share for your sessions.
• Payment information processed by Stripe. I do not see or store your full card number; Stripe handles payment securely and shares only confirmation and basic transaction details with me.
• Footage and content you send me for analysis (video links or files). This is used solely to coach you.
• Quiz answers and your email if you take the riding quiz and ask for your results. Your answers are used to pick your drill plan and tailor the emails you get. Along with your email, these records also store where the signup came from — the campaign source and campaign tags (UTM parameters) on the link you arrived through, and your country — so I know which of my pages and campaigns actually work.
• SKOVA community data if you join SKOVA: your profile (display name, avatar), posts, comments, high fives, follows, challenge entries, and direct messages you send to connected riders. Anything you post to the feed is visible to other members; direct messages are visible to the rider you send them to.
• Referral tracking if you share a SKOVA link: share links carry your rider handle, and I count link taps and joined signups per handle so you can see your own referral counts (and so challenge winners get credit for the riders they bring in).
• First-party usage data: this site sends a simple analytics beacon to my own server (page views and in-app events, such as which pages get read). It's used to see what's working, not to profile you. There are no third-party advertising pixels active on this site.
• Push notification subscription if you opt in to web push (see below).

How I Use Your Information

• To schedule, deliver, and follow up on your coaching sessions.
• To deliver the Academy course and keep your progress.
• To process payments and send receipts.
• To send you session confirmations, reminders, your Zoom link, and your drill plan.
• To run the SKOVA community: showing your posts and profile to other members, running challenges, and moderating content.
• To improve the site using my own first-party analytics.
• To respond to your questions and provide support.

Emails

If you take the quiz or grab a free guide, I'll send you your results plus a short series of coaching emails (the kind that teach, not spam). Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the sequence immediately. Transactional emails (receipts, booking confirmations, login links) are sent regardless because you need them.

Push Notifications

Web push notifications are strictly opt-in — you'll only get them if you accept the browser prompt. You can turn them off any time in your notification settings on the site or in your browser, and your subscription is removed.

The SKOVA Community

• SKOVA is for riders 13 and up; the sign-up flow includes an age gate, and I don't knowingly keep accounts for anyone under 13.
• Posts, comments, and reports are moderated by me and a small moderator team, who can see reported content and take action on it.
• Direct messages: connected riders can send each other direct messages. Messages are stored so they can be delivered and shown in both riders' threads. They are private between the two of you, with one exception: if a rider reports a message, the reported content is seen by moderators so they can act on it.
• You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion removes your profile, your posts, your follows, your avatar, and your account data. To be straight with you about the limits: comments you left on other riders' posts may remain, attributed to your former handle, and direct messages you sent may persist in the other rider's thread. If you want those removed too, email info@tommiebennett.com and I'll take care of it.

Service Providers I Share Data With

I use trusted third-party services to run things. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare — hosts and runs the site, the community, and the database behind them (infrastructure processor). Course and community video is delivered via Cloudflare Stream.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Zoom — video coaching sessions.
• Email provider — sending the emails described above.

I do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Your Riding Footage

Footage you share for coaching is used only to analyze and coach your riding. I will not publish, share, or use your coaching footage publicly (for example in social content or marketing) without your separate, explicit permission. Footage you choose to post in SKOVA is public to the community by design.

Data Retention

I keep your booking, purchase, and contact information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting requirements. Page-view analytics events are aggregate and not kept tied to you — with two honest exceptions: referral counts are kept per rider handle (that's the whole point of the feature — see Referral tracking above), and quiz/email-signup records keep their campaign source and country with your email. You can ask me to delete your personal data at any time (see Contact below), subject to records I'm required to keep.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or the CCPA. To exercise any of these, contact me using the details below — or use the in-app tools (unsubscribe links, notification settings, account deletion), which are faster.

Children

This site and SKOVA are not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If a minor is being coached, a parent or guardian must make the booking and provide consent.

Cookies & Local Storage

This site keeps you signed in using a login token saved in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), and remembers your settings the same way. My analytics beacon is first-party and doesn't use third-party tracking cookies. Embedded tools (such as the Stripe payment form) may set their own cookies to function. If advertising pixels are ever added, this policy will be updated first.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
